help identifing what year tractor i have

hi my name is gary. can anyone tell me what year tractor i have. it is a C-160 automatic. it has a 16HP kohler which i did find is a 1976. the serial numbers on tractor are 61-16KS04 21834 and under that number is 6131. any help greatley apreciated. thanks

According to the TORO site https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm its a 1976.

Enter your model# into the search box and you can get all sorts of info on parts and attachments for it.

Let's explain the numbers you have...

61-16KS04 is the VIN number. It tells me the year by the "6" in "61"...

K=Kohler, S=Sunstrand is a series number.

21834 is the serial number

6131 is the manufacture date, 1976, 131 day.

:thumbs2: thanks to everyone that replyed. i will try and post a pic. i am just kinda getting into the wheel horse thing. i am going to try and get over to the wheel horse rally next weekend. the last ten or fifteen years i have been into motorcycles i have six BSA,s. not sure what i am doing wrong how do you get picture from photobucket to this site?

move the cursor to the pic you want to post. a drop down window will open. then click the IMG code to copy it. then paste it in your post, and...TA DA...you've done it! :thumbs2:
