JRess 12 #1 Posted November 6, 2021 My son wants to mulch his leaves. He has a 310-8 with a 1542sc01 deck. Aside from fabrication is there an aftermarket cover that will plug his side discharge? echris 1,425 #3 Posted November 6, 2021 I don't remember seeing any other attachments for that era SD deck aside from the flip-up top-mounted chute or the stationary under-mounted chute. I think the only mulcher is the 42RD with the recycler kit. I can't recall ever seeing a factory mulching cover for an SD. Did they exist? It's pretty simple to make your own mulching cover for an SD though.
