Has anyone used a 300/400/500 rear tach a matic snow plow bracket on an XI?

Not here but now that you've got me thinking it seems that it would.

I will let ya know next week, I am going to try it.

The preliminary look at this is good. I stuck one up under one of the xi machine and it looked okay. The only difference was the plow was going to set back to the rear about an inch. That would move the attachment point and the anti sway bar in the front.

I will let you know when this is done.

Those xi brackets are pricey and hard to find, that is cheap used ones. New are available through WHP&M.

I got the plow on the xi with the rear WH standard bracket. All in all it worked with one exception. This bracket moved the plow just a inch or so toward the rear and it caused the plow angling bracket to hit the foot control pivot assembly when the plow was raised all the way up (second pic shows uncut support). That caused the foot control to lock up. A slight notch was necessary for clearance in the plow frame in this area (third pic). I have a pic of the area in question. The blade, when angled cleared both front wheels as shown when tested. I would call it "confirmed" it can be done.

Thank you!! I guess it is time I try and mount it up myself. Those modifications are minimal and worth the extra effort.
