Ford 100, with cast alum deck and a rototiller

First Ford/Jacobsen GT I've owned.  Winter project perhaps but there's a long list...

It seems well built but nothing exceptional although the cast aluminum is remarkable.  Only the second tiller attachment I have.  Will be interesting to compare it to my WH tiller.

Pictures don't show it but I have all the sheet metal.  PO tore it down some and started to restore it.  It's in pretty good shape overall, except for being a basket case of parts!

Great score! Everything looks to be there.

Would love to own a Ford GT as I am a ford guy, but haven't seen a single one around here.

remarkable how they protected the mowerdeck spindels against the acid from the grass.

Afraid that time came a long time ago...

However, it is here now, just in a pile on the ground!

Big car port is also waiting on me!

Yeah, I've always wanted one.  Ford guy here too.  Always wanted a Ford 8N but I've sort of gotten over that or perhaps upped the ante to a Ford 2000 or up instead.

And yes, while I see little that is exceptional about the tractor the deck is both robust, light-weight AND I think nicely engineered with those grass shields getting my attention right off the bat!

A guy I work with picked up a LT14A not long ago. He tore it down, painted it, fired the engine on the bench and broke his brother's wrist.
