OK ???

Retired Wrencher

I have a B80/8  and now it does not turn over it ran on Saturday. Cleaned all connections new battery new switch. Dead. Lucky I have summer clean B 80 to take parts off and try and see if this works. Any thoughts?

Assume it is original engine K-181 battery ignition and solenoid.  Switch in start do you have 12v at the small terminal on solenoid??

I agree first I would check ---(as stated above)-- the 12v at the solenoid---But I do know that the Switch needs to be a match--in most cases. Good Luck.

Well Guys I used a jumper box and the starter works. So I am thinking it the solenoid. Will keep you posted.

Don't ignore the possibilities of a bad ignition switch or switch-to-solenoid wiring/connections. :)
