What horse is this?

Looking into bying this Horse, decals are missing and so is the original chassis. has a Kohler command v-twin on it, Which I don't think I will buy.

Has a 8 speed and headlights

Kinda looks like a C-120?

What would a kohler command V-twin in good running condition be worth?

He wants 600$ over the chassis for the engine and 90° gearbox, I think that is a bit high. (eventhough those are rare here)

953 nut

:text-coolphotos:     Rather interesting the way the engine was mounted with a right angle gear box.   I have no idea what that V Twin is worth on your side of the pond but I would guess $ 600 to 700 here.

I think I will buy that, and then use it in conjunction with a Kohler KT17 I can get for $200.

Looks like a 1978 or 1979 model with the wide hoodstand so C-121 or one ending in a 1

If the rear axles are 1" in diameter it could be a 1982 SK-486. That is where they used up left-over wide hoodstands.
