Wheelhorse#1 1,829 #1 Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) Apparently I mashed up a couple threads on the crank, blower side getting the flywheel off. Does anyone know the pitch and size of threads on that end ? It’s a kohler 301. I’ve been trying to find the info but can’t seem too. I believe 5/8 ? I’ll need to retrace them need to buy a die . Me too, lots of times, because I'm way too cheap to buy an expensive die for a one time use! https://www.harborfreight.com/12-piece-needle-file-set-468.html @Wheelhorse#1 Edited October 5, 2021 by Jeff-C175

oldlineman 1,537 #5 Posted October 5, 2021 You can make a cheap thread chaser with a nut and cutting or filing groves in the threads something like a die. Works if threads are not too bad. Bob

pfrederi 18,669 #8 Posted October 6, 2021 Bought this set probably 25 years ago. One of the best tool investments I ever made.. Use it on Milittay vehicles (lots of NF) Old tractors Case and Farmall and of course lots of Wheel horses.
