I saw some Deestone at a good price… what about those ?

I don't recommend the Deestone rears. They are WAY smaller than you'd expect.

Will the 10.50 wide fit ?

I'm sure they'll fit the rims just fine.

I don't have any newer tractors to compare sizes on.

Things to consider would be:

Do you remember how much room you had before disassembly?

The 10.50 is maybe 1/2" per side wider obviously so did you have enough clearance?

If you're going to want chains, leave extra room next to the brake drum.

Yeah, I see what you are saying…

I will have to figure which piece on the Work Horse will “float”.

I guess as long as you can move that piece enough to swing that half hoop around.

Thanks @Jeff-C175, I’ll just have to find a roll pin that fits one piece or the other.

I think that the pin is press fit into the hoop bar from the factory and the holes in the bracket are bigger and clear the pin.

If you can't find a 5/32 pin nobody would fault you if you drilled the hole out a bit and used a 3/16 !

When I did the one on my 175 I had some 10-32 brass nuts that I installed on each side of the hoop bar in order to keep the bracket thingy centered.

Don’t want small, want big !

Cool

Too bad

No, but I can put the ones back on to measure.

   Yes

Will most likely never use chains… my tractor skills are so awesome, won’t need them.

Oh the humanity!… not factory !…

I will definitely figure something out, and those nuts were clever !

Does anybody know  how  much “gap” I need to set between the PTO clutch disc and the PTO clutch disc brake pad ?

Seems to me I seen .0015 somewhere.

You know … chains, we don’t need no stinking chains ! … especially when we average 2” per 10 years or so…

So today I worked a little more on the Work Horse Refresh…

I wiped down the wiring harness and sanded the terminals and connectors. Plugged them back on after applying a dab of dielectric grease.

Also put some decals on the dash/ steering tower panel and the transmission console cover. Bailey says it passed quality control.
More work was done, but no pics, so I’ll post that tomorrow…

Those panels look great!  I did the same thing with mine, probably should have waited a little more cure time on the paint... but no ill effect, they look fine.

OK, this is weird...  mine...

AND, I've also got the exact same safe (although not next to the shoebox, AND, had a pet named Bailey (but it was a cat)

I didn't see a perv-cam ?

Same shoe box, on same kind of carpet...  I saw that and thought... wait... what?

EH rated safety shoes that I had to have for work... when I was still working.

They did not come out without some imperfections.

They have some pitted rust spots that did not come out and I did not go as far as using filler primer, but they will be good enough for the girls we date, as “Diesel Creek” guy on YouTube says…

No!  of course not!  I hadda go out to the garage to hook up some battery chargers.

Post 513?  we're not there yet?

There was some pitting in my panels too, but I got impatient and went for the second coat before it was time and it wrinkled.  So I hadda wet sand it all down and when I did that and waited the right amount of time, those pits were gone, so I guess it was a good thing!

For some reason the post numbers don’t update quick… almost like I have to leave the thread and when I come back they are numbered correct.

OK, that's weird too.  I backed up and sure enough, there was 513... but the next one was 502... and then I refreshed the page and all was well in Whoville again.  Strange!

We also had cats named Dweezil and Moon Unit.

The Treasurer is a cat person.  I get to name them sometimes.

Back to the business at hand… I need to get a little diesel in the Work Horse trans so I can run it a little on jack stands to flush it, put in wiring harness, battery, gas tank, fuel pet cock, fuel line, new plugs, and then I should be about ready to crank ‘er up.
