the task for the day

Maxwell-8

I put everything back together gave it some paint. Brushes looked like they had just some more life in them. couldn't find a part number so I assembled everything after a good internal clean and grease.

Looks good, but still isn't like it should be, turns faster but still doesn't has the needed power even if I put direct power to it (cleaned surfaces).

I guess the brushes still need to get replaced, everything else looked fine.

Haha, battery was low from cranking and trying before the rebuild. The cleaning and polishing the copper was all that was needed. All the dust from the brushes were conductive I guess.

Back in Business:auto-layrubber: and now his generator is nicely painted, He might start to restore his Tractor.

Good assumption. Most of it was "powdered" brush.

I think all of it, cause it's a sealed unit.
