A-90 what's she worth?

So I bought this what I believe to be a '77 A-90 last fall. It runs then dies. Got good compression, sand spark. got tired of screwing with it. Lots of new parts, coil, plug, carb, points and condenser, fresh oil, and a valve job... what's a clean  lawn tractor like this worth? Has No deck  either.

Here in Belgium they go for upwards of 400€

In the US I guess a 100-200$

Peanuts. No deck or tool lowers value a lot, and the A series are just not that desirable. Non runner puts is, I'm sorry to say, just about scrap value in my book. Was it running fine, then perhaps 150 on a good day. Just my  :twocents-02cents:

I would part it out. Just saying :-)

This indicates it is running out of fuel.     Try removing the fuel tank cap.     Check the flow of fuel from the pump  by removing the line into the carb. and cranking the engine.

As stated above, Vertical engine lawn mowers do not have a very goood resale value.

Presuming the ignition points are set properly I would say the fuel system needs attention. You have already spent some time and money on it, get it running and enjoy it.

Throw a vertical shaft predator on it and it would be perfect for kids or grandkids to put around and pull a wagon with.

WHX??

I like Randy's idea and hate to see any horse go to the glue factory but the boys on the the other side of the pond have good points and horses of any flavor are hard to find over there.

As some will already know the A90 is a lawn tractor and not a garden tractor it should have a 1400 peerless 3 speed which is way weaker than the unidrive
