Fixing a few things on the dually 633...

Thanks guys!

I'm pleased to announce.....

After a LONG and HOT (92*) day.... IT'S DONE!!! :thumbs2:

My lovely wife, Stephanie, put the final decals on tonight... When we first got married, she worked at a semi trailer place... applying decals. She's VERY good at it. After seeing the air bubbles in the dash decal that I put on, she INSISTED that she would put the rest of them on...

Here's the final pics...

It's not perfect, but it is the best I could do in 10 days...

I'm going to have to be VERY careful with it for awhile... the paint is still unbelievably soft... I had to strip down to my underoos and socks to take it for a spin :ychain: )

Hopefully, it will be sunny and hot tomorrow and I'll roll it outside and let it bake all day... Any other suggestions?

Thanks Alex! I'm looking forward to meeting you at the show!

Also, does anybody know if GlenJeri is going to be there? I need a set of front bearing caps... Glen makes those SWEET WH logo caps!!!

Now, I just have to straighten up the shop, find somewhere to put the C-120 and Raider 10 that I picked up this past week and get them out of the driveway....

Pack clothes, tents, chairs and everything we're going to need for the trip... hitch up the trailer. Oh boy, I'm not done yet... :thumbs2:

I did use the JB welded tank...

I think the "key" is to get the metal ABSOLUTELY clean before you put it on. I had a car in high school that started leaking... I cleaned and JB welded it and it held up for YEARS. (8 years that I know of) :thumbs2:

I'll let y'all know if it should happen to start leaking...

Jon,

I saw your tractor this weekend and I am amazed at the level of detail you went through in such a short time. Great tractor.

You need to start up a TV show simular to " Overhaulin" it's where they steal someones car and completly restore it in a week for them. This is the show with Chip Foose!

By the way I can leave my shed unlock any time you might want to try this!

A job well done! :thumbs2:

Thanks fellas!!!

Yes, I had the charger set on 10 amps... :thumbs2:

I used Krylon "rust tough" enamel... It is a VERY good paint. No rubbing yet, but I really don't think it needs it...
