woodworker4421 1 #1 Posted July 24, 2021 i have a 417-8 wheel horse the lift does not seem to work? unhooked the wire form the lift switch. and then run a jumper wire from the battery to the two wires going towhat am i missing? o the lift motor still does not lift ? why ? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,391 #4 Posted July 24, 2021 When yellow has power the red is grounded to make the motor run one way. When the red has power and the yellow is grounded the motor runs the other way. This is accomplished by the double-pull double-throw momentary toggle switch. Garry You have to jump both the red and the yellow. Power to one and ground to the other. Reverse the connections and it should run the other way. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
