John2189 520 #1 Posted July 19, 2021 I took air filter off to check it and there was oil inside laying on the plate that bolts to the carb. There is a small rubber hose in there that comes from the block. Why is oil there? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

SOME small amount of oil is NORMAL, but if you've got a bit it probably means that the breather needs removal and cleaning. It could also mean that there's way too much oil in the crankcase.
