520-8 Production Number

Hi All,

 

I recently picked up a 1990 520-8. I was told the production number for the 520-8 was 225. How true is that? How do we know it’s not more than 225? What is the real number of 520-8s produced?

I’ve always read that it was 225…but have never seen hard proof.

I get the impression there were very few Horse models counted officially, other than 420LSE.
