D Huber 0 #1 Posted July 5, 2021 On the last oil change I put in 2.6 qts as per the manual Now the dipstick reads 3/4" over the full mark. I've always used the dipstick when filling in the past. Not the original dipstick?
pfrederi 18,669 #2 Posted July 5, 2021 Welcome... What kind of engine are you using here. K series Kohlers you do NOT screw the dipstick in to take the reading just set it in the hole and read.

squonk 43,807 #5 Posted July 5, 2021 Renault is French for PITA! If you just bought this tractor, I would go with what the manual says. If you have owned this for a while and all of a sudden it shows overfull, I would look to what's getting into the oil. Gas or antifreeze. 1
