pacer 3,177 #3 Posted June 22, 2021 If you arent picky there are dozens of them on the bay - from $30ish to $100ish I've rebuilt some 12-14 engines using the choices off the bay and have had no problems. Ive also used the piston/rings/rods/valves. etc

WHX?? 51,733 #5 Posted June 22, 2021 I'm not picky ... I got over two dozen horses to feed so it's as cheap as it can get... flea bay and with proper prep works fine lasts long time.
barns1 57 #6 Posted June 22, 2021 WHX24, Thank you for your input also. I was up to ten C-Series Horses before I came down with health issues. Currently at four Horses and I understand about keeping them all running well.
WHX?? 51,733 #7 Posted June 22, 2021 (edited) No problem Barns... a couple very special horses or restos might get the oem treatment but even then I have had no problems with aftermarket if I did my homework right. 99 9% of the time I have a gasket failure it was my own damn fault. Didn't have my I's crossed or my t's dotted. Edited June 22, 2021 by WHX24
