ST 326 on B-80?

Recommended Posts

Ok, so there is this snow thrower on CL and it has been there a while and it has peaked my interest a few times now and I want to know if this would fit on my B-80. They guy says that it was on his 1966 model 606.

I dont know very much about the snow throwers and I am curious to see if it would fit my horse.

Hey Matt... nope... it's designed for tractors a little older than yours. It's for mid-late 60s models that had the foot pedal pto engagement. The chute controls will hit the PTO bell on your tractor and you won't even be able to bolt it up without bending or cutting something. I've seen that on there for a while now too... just don't have room or use for it. The tractor it was on sold about a month ago... don't know why he didn't just sell the two together? :thumbs2:

He probably thought he would be able to make an extra buck or two. I was hoping it would fit mine since he wants to get rid of it so bad but oh well. Such is life.

But I do have a question for you tho. Is there something out there that I can look up what attachments would fit my B-80? I have the interchangeability list but it doesnt tell me what other models of attachments that would fit...

Thanks Jason :thumbs2:

The interchangeability list is the right tool... you just have to look at the "Supersedes to" column on the right side. Follow those numbers forward and backward to see what other years attachments will work. For example... the ST-326 from 1966 supersedes to model 6-2211. Looking forward we find that in 1968 where it doesn't supersede because that model style was discontinued.

Keep in mind with your front attachments that you need to be 1972 and newer because of your front tach-a-matic.

Oh ok. I guess I was just looking to see if was available and looking to the left to see the model number and not to see what it superseded to.

Thanks!
