DCwom 78 #1 Posted May 23, 2021 I've got a new throttle cable to replace the seized cable on my Raider 12, the cable is too long. I would have just cut the cable but I didn't have the right tools with me so I figure I'd ask in the mean time. The old cable was routed through a piece of rubber fuel line by my dad, but I have no idea why he did that, which makes me wonder if the old cable's routing isn't correct, i.e. it was a short cut, the shortest route from the panel to the engine. The cable comes out of the panel and over the battery, past the oil fill plug, then behind the throttle linkage and under the retaining clip (see attached pics). I don't really see a better routing, anything else just gets the cable too close to the PTO. Dennis
