Looks good! Gotta love the C-Series! That is how I do it as far as the bolts and nuts, makes the restore job SO much better! I have cans full of the stock washers and bolts from all the restores I have done....

Good Job! :thumbs2: You wont be sorry for using stainless hardware thats what I just did on my RJ-35. But remember something, Stainless means just that. It means that it stains less, but it still can rust or stain a little bit depending on what grade you get and use. Stainless also can be softer than grade 5 or 8 so check with your hardware doode on the specs. Just keep your resto dry and some oil or wax on the bolts and you will be fine.

Just thought i would post a picture of when i first bought the C141 off ebay 9 months ago.with broken steering wheel, which i have got to find, and had to strip gearbox and found selecter fork on the high/low had snapped off, steering tie rods had snapped off. and many other things had to be repaired.

The first time the C141 has seen daylight in 9 months, have bolted on a few more bits to it, not to much more to do? still not found the right sort of tyres i want for the front, the ones on it at the moment are off a scrap lawn tractor.PICT0270.jpg.

Looks nice the C's are a very good all around tractor, will do just about anything you want them to, and your will be in top shape, Question what size tires did you put on the rear? and are those the stock 7.5 rims? they fit nicely

Hi kelly, yes they are the standard rims, fitted on them were 23x8:50-12 turf tyers,i replaced them with 23x10:50-12s after seeing a lot of the pictures on redsquare which i really liked. i still have not got the new tyres for the front yet, the rims are still all rapped up as dont want to scratch the new paint. i have spent another few hours tonight working on it.

Kevin, just my humble two cents worth, but I think that tractor would look awesome witha set of tri-rib tires on the front!

Kevin, have a look at this thread toward the end of the posts:

Apparently Firestone makes a nice tri-rib! Not sure of availability on your side of the pond, but perhaps someone over here could help out if needed?
