theoldwizard2 2 #1 Posted May 8, 2021 I'm old. My eye sight is not as good as it used to be. I can not see TDC on the points rod on my K241 to adjust the new ones. You can't use the screwdriver trick because the spark plug is not directly over the piston. Is there and easy to view TDC external indicator ?

squonk 43,644 #3 Posted May 8, 2021 This works well. As long as your hearing is better than your eyesight! TDC Whistle https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mrg-8016mrg

squonk 43,644 #6 Posted May 10, 2021 That hole is on your flywheel shroud towards the front. If your engine is older there is a plug covering a hole in the bearing plate to view the timing marks. It's on the backside of the engine. If you have a starter generator, it will be hard to see.
