‘97 520-H accelerator pump schematic

Hey all!

I have a pretty heavy surging at idle with the emissions style carb. Taken it apart a few times now and cannot figure it out. However, I might be onto something.

I took the accelerator pump apart because I bought a rebuild kit. The kit comes with two components (small o-ring and a brass shaft) that my carb did not have. With that said, I can’t find an exploded view of my carb or a schematic. Anyone have one? The first picture shows what came out of mine and the second are the extra parts from the new kit.

Also, I want to make sure that one of the jets i pulled out is not damaged, I though that this jet would come to a fine needle point at the end. I’m thinking if that’s the case, someone bottomed out the jet and it broke off. This will be picture 1 at the bottom.

That spring and ball can be seen here.

Awesome, got it running nicely now! Just have to adjust the throttle cable to bring the idle down, it was around 1800. Gave a pop when I turned the key off (never did that before) but I’m hoping it was nothing. Didnt fire back up since it’s 11pm. I’ll report back if I find the intake is leaking and causing the backfire.
