K341 in c81. Looking for c160 pictures

Looking for pictures of how a k341 is bolted in on a c160.  I know the oil pan hangs over the right side some. Bolts from the bottom?  I’m in the process of putting a k341 in my c81 but I have a wide base k341 so I can’t use the shaker plate.

thanks!

Bottom of you r 341 should have tapped holes on the PTO side   you may or may not have to drill a new hole in the frame...

If it were me, I would temporarily attach the belt guard to the mower. Line up the bolt hole on your motor, with the mounting hole in your belt guard, and that's where the motor would go, regardless of what I had to do to put it there. I am not familiar with a C81, so maybe this isn't possible, but if it is, that's what I would do.

:WRS:

The left side of the engine (flywheel side) will use the through holes in the oil pan to mount to the frame.   The right side of the engine (PTO side) will mount using the threaded holes in the bottom of the oil pan. Yes bolts come from under the tractor.

:text-welcomeconfetti: @Coilovergto!  If the pan is somehow not tapped, possibly J bolts could help you clamp the engine to the frame rail?

@Coilovergto I have a C81 and C160 over at another location  I will look at them later today.  I will also measure/look at the belt  guards to see if they are the same I seem to vaguely recal the mounting tab on the engine end was different .  What others have indicated above is correct about removing the shaker plate and using an oil pan that the PTO side bolts from the bottom.

@Coilovergto The pictures with the black kohler engine is my C160, the ones with the gray kohler are of my C-81

As you can see in this C-160 picture below the belt guard and its attachment at the engine is a little different.   if you can weld sheet metal, you probable can make the C81 work, or you can get on from someone on here or A-Z tractor.  You can check part numbers in the manuals section, but I suspect the C-100, through C-160 all have the same belt guard as they are all the same size Kohler block.
