Kennyb 4 #1 Posted April 12, 2021 Hi folks I'm new here and to collecting horses,I have a 68 electo 12,and a 78ish b111,and now I just bought a 875 wheel a matic with no engine,I bought a 14 horse kohler but is way to big,what size is called for this machine,any help would be much appreciated,ty 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Squonk's a faster typer but also appears he left his welcome manners in the top drawer today! BTW you might be able to squeeze a K241 in there with a short base like a 1045 or a 1055. 953 nut 51,646 #14 Posted April 13, 2021 As you can see in Jim's @WHX24 picture the 10/12 HP engines that will fit under your hood are a lower oil pan engine. One option you may want to consider would be fabricating a front hood hinge that will raise it enough to clear the 14 HP engine and make a short riser to elevate the dash tower enough for the hood to rest properly. The engine in your 875 is a generator type which is a little harder to find but i have seen them for sale. If you want to keep it original keep looking you'll find one.
