While some might know by looking, I don't.

What is it?

Can you see the seal from the outside?

It is not necessary to take the transmission apart to change that seal.  You should be able to removed it from the input shaft with a small screwdriver.  Check out the pinned thread at the top of the transmission section to find the proper SKF seal number.  Bill

The seals are only 1/8" deep so don't drive the screwdriver in too far or you will hit the bearing. I use a scratch awl and since they are so shallow it does not take much to pop them out.

while I agree with gwest above , have used packing pullers for years to repack tank drives , https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=ALeKk02CROtg-JMarTRSshEDBHaHYdytVQ:1617549965845&source=univ&tbm=isch&q=packing+puller&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjE_vqY8-TvAhWuGFkFHXt3B5UQjJkEegQIFBAB&biw=1024&bih=625 , drill a tiny hole , screw it in  and pop it out  , pete

Use a small ice pic type tool and just be careful not to go too deep with it because there is a needle bearing behind it and it can be damaged. Putting it back on clean the shaft thoroughly put a little masking tape over the keyway and some Vaseline on the seal and shaft. Tap it in gently with a socket that fits over the shaft that is slightly smaller than the seal.
