brad21875 6 #1 Posted March 30, 2021 I am wondering the best approach to determine why my WH won't start. I replaced battery to start with but nothing. Even when I turn the key and touch the solinoid with a screw driver, nothing. I am thinking it is probably in the switch or solinoid but wasn't sure which route to try first. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,561 #2 Posted March 30, 2021 What is the model number and serial number of your tractor? With those the correct wiring diagrams and a test light or voltmeter should locate the problem. Garry
953 nut 60,696 #3 Posted March 30, 2021 Is the PTO off? Is the clutch pushed down? Is the polarity of the battery correct.

Pullstart 67,244 #5 Posted March 30, 2021 Do you have a volt meter? Tracing your power from the battery and tracing your grounds, look to where you lose it and report back.

brad21875 6 #7 Posted March 31, 2021 I got er going. It fired up after I brushed off the battery and the cable ends. Thanks for the reminder to have clean battery terminals.
