Rollerman 290 #26 Posted February 4, 2008 Joel I typed to Terry about that vertical I had seen in Nappanee,IN & have talked horses with him at the shows....pretty decent guy. I don't know that he gets to involved with the "cyber groups"? By the way 69Dez...welcome to Red Square "belated" & thats a very sharp tractor. What did you make the light mount from? 69DEZ 6 #27 Posted February 4, 2008 Well combat29r you are correct 20/10/8 rear tires. I had to raise the seat pan other wise I couldn't run the chains! The blade is not what you think. It's a 6-7121 or 6-7123??? I'm missing the upper and lower index rod linkage. Someday I will get around to making some. Unless some one out there has some extra's and a midmounted gader 7-1112 since I'm making a wish list here how about a tiller 7-1221 I really don't know what year I have (V7) there are no numbers or tags on it anywhere. The only number on it is on the rear end. I lost the piece of paper with the number on it. I not going to ripp the weights and hitch off to get them untill it gets warm. It takes a special shift boot that some told me they only made for 2 yrs. So I'm just assuming that it's a 69-70 V7.
69DEZ 6 #28 Posted February 4, 2008 Thanks trickers. The light mount is a piece of angle iron, cut then welded. That was one of those nights with to many beers and idle hands. :D
combatmp29r 27 #29 Posted February 4, 2008 If it has the original hood on it yet its a 69 they changed hoods in 70. It has a 70 shiter handle, but I've owned all original 69s with 70 handles on them. The 69 had a round shift knob instead of the T handle. Let me look around. I may be able to find the handles you need for your blade. Hmmmmm not what shed would those be in Stephen, He used to be really active over on the yahoo groups. He's gotten away from it though. I've actually bought 2 verts, a deck, a tiller, and a clevis hitch from him. My wife actually grew up about 20 minutes from his place and her brother lives about 2 miles from him. Small world it is. I've actually gotten 4 of my verts from that part of IN over the years.
69DEZ 6 #30 Posted February 5, 2008 Thanks for the info Joel. It must be a 69. Parts are slim pick ins here in WI. Unless some one out there knows of a place. :D

combatmp29r 27 #32 Posted February 5, 2008 69 Dez I actually have seen 2 of the older Verticals one V7 and one V8 on ebay in WI in the last 6 months. I don't think either one sold, and I know one had an opening bid of $30. So they're there. Alot of people just don't realize what they have. Heres a pic of my only V7 its a 70 commando. 69DEZ 6 #33 Posted February 6, 2008 Nice V7. I've been keeping my eyes open. E-bay,Craig s list. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that knows of any place in WI that has WH parts. 2 weeks ago I stopped at a local junk yard. Asked the guy if he had any WH's he looked at me like I was crazy. :D
