when a model I.D. number is missing from a seat pan for the 1980 or 90's era horses - is there another place or way to determine the model number - or the year , etc????........thanks

All the numbers off the engine data decal including the serial number may ID the tractor provided the engine is original to it.

Did you look up high under the dash panel?

You could also post some pictures and likely someone can help pinpoint it too.

It's not a big deal as most parts never changed  What parts are you looking for?

Above the shifter plate below the dash there may be a plate where the Blackhood ID #s are. Sometimes the steering wheel, seat, hood and obviously the decals may get you close to the model year if the items are original to the tractor.

  • Thanks 1
