SadieCoonhound 8 #1 Posted March 9, 2021 Can anyone tell me where I can get a needle and seat valve for Onan carburetor. The number stamped on it is 146 - 0479. It’s on a 1989 520H. It has mysteriously disappeared from my garage floor. Thanks guys.
Handy Don 14,061 #2 Posted March 9, 2021 Onanparts in the vendor section will have carb parts. Get the engine model and serial before contacting them, it'll save time! There are third party rebuild kits too, but be careful--my experience is that they are not all made to the same quality or precision and don't always help. lynnmor 7,815 #4 Posted March 9, 2021 I’ve used the cheap carb kits for the basic gaskets, I found sharp corners on the needles that cause them to hang up, very careful rounding those corners can make them work. Still best to buy the real thing.
