Rear wheel information

Hey guys, getting ready to mount some new tires into my project 418. The rims that came with it one was okay and the other was destroyed. No problem I had one off of a 312. As you can see in the photos the wheels are slightly different. I don’t think it’s gonna hurt because measuring the backspace they’re a 1/4” difference. The question is is this normal on wheel horse? I thought they all used pretty well the same wheels aside from the 520s  thanks guys image.jpeg.c1467828b2e59580ade9e33f462be471.jpeg

If this were an older :wh: say pre B series. I could tell you for sure that the rim on the right is correct off set and the rim on the left is not. I do not know if this holds true for a 418.

I tend to agree with you haha. Just figured I’d see if anyone’s seen this

The one on the right is from the 418, the one on the left is off a 312. Measured out they only have a 1/4” difference between the 2. The way the centre’s shaped seems to make up the difference

The one on the left is probably from a late 416h.  It should have a weld bead at each  of the contact points around the rim rather than spot welds. The rim center is made from a thicker steel if so. Just to let you folks know I got a pair from a 244h and they are the same as the  set on my late 416h. They all have less offset and work on both the 8speed and hydros.  The Little Ugly  312-8  came with the weld bead wheels but with the standard  WH offset.
