at times from going from forward to reverse or visa versa it blows the 30 amp fuse.any thoughts

I would check to see if you are pinching or rubbing against a wire with the linkage. The seat switch wires hang down in the area of the cam, but I'm not sure if they are in a 30 amp circuit.

What year is the 416-H?

The following info is based on the 1992 - 1997 416's

The only circuits where a 30A fuse is supposed to be is the charging circuit.

and the starter solenoid circuit.

I would be looking for something shorting out in that wiring.
