Docwheelhorse 2,740 #5 Posted May 31, 2009 Hi Guys, its a complete scam. I figured I would send an email asking if it was true and yadda yadda..... he sends back an email that its true and his wife and him are both laid off and they need a good mower to take care of there property. I ask for a phone number and send pics of my nicest 300 series. He sends back that I must of been confused and that he wants $6500 + a tractor for the land. He's playing games and I figured it was a too good to be true scenario---but you can't win if you don't "play" and it doesn't hurt to ask..... Tony
can whlvr 994 #6 Posted June 1, 2009 Isnt that still a steal, around here two acres could not be bought for 60000 dollars!!!!
Docwheelhorse 2,740 #7 Posted June 1, 2009 NO... what you have to understand is that it is most likely an unbuildable lot in the middle of nowhere. I could of bought a 1 acre lot here in CT with 30 or 40 feet of lake frontage for $5000.... catch was it was unbuildable and the lake didn't allow any motors (Gas or ELECTRIC even...) that turned me off and I walked.
