Yeah, that’s a good point. 🤔

You could solve this great issue by getting another Wheelhorse. One to hold the trailer. One to push muck.

What about a winch/hoist mounted to the back of the tractor? Kind of like Eric's dump cart.

Doable?

Absolutely doable. There are winch mounts available for trailer hitches.

That would also give you the capabilities of lifting/moving things other than the trailer.

Cool design!

I have similar in a newer plastic version, but neither will dump cleanly and require a dump, forward movement and then some elbow with shovel movement to fully clear the cart.  OR!  Block the wheels and backup a bit to completely raise the wheels and entire cart up.  Works better than a wheelbarrow but still lacking somewhat.

No!  They work very well together!  So much so that others will appear in time!

Absolutely!  Even a hand crank boat winch!

Yeah.  I mean really.  Why buy a 12v winch, run battery cables and switch when you can crank for a few seconds?

You see my video above?

The only thing I'd do different is use a flat strap instead of a cable.

Yep.  I have a Sears with a rear manual hoist for lifting and dragging.  Works great!  For it to work I have to get out of my seat anyway, what is a few second to crank whille I look at my load?  For moving and dumping a LOT of material it's nice to stay seated and go back for more.  I needed to move a small hillside and fill in a hollow so I used the CUT FEL and back box blade.  On the move I'd load the FEL, then drop the box blade and fill it, drive to the dump site, dump the FEL, drive over it while raising the box blade and repeat.  Moved a LOT of material quickly but does every GT owner expect to do that?  I think most are just trying to get a notch above a wheelbarrow!  Not move a hillside!  Man!  I spent way too much time with a shovel and wheelbarrow!  (Still use them but not often and I don't admit it!)

When this question was asked I thought you were wanting to put in a ramp the cart could be pulled up next to.

Yes! That looks perfect!
could the boom be attached to the tractor near the hitch?

Oh yes! That was one idea! Then someone mentioned using a piece of plywood. Push on, push off. Than I thought of plywood with sides to hold more, then sled runners for less resistance, then a dumpable sled. Lol

gears were turning!

awesome drawing!

what materials would you suggest? Would need to be wood.

The tractor has a four pin connector wired near the hitch. Thought I could plug the winch in there!

Certainly.

Just a matter of fabricating a proper mount.

This can be done IIFF you wire the winch through a relay. The little wires feed the relay. The relay's heavy wire side feeds the winch.

I think that is the best approach if possible to place the ramp!

Wish I had a wife... I need someone to do my laundry, too.  :P

I went with the all-in-one model.

Works as a dishwasher and runs the vacuum too.
