Snow blower

Recommended Posts

I have a 312-8 with a snowblower. The tube stud is worn to the cutter pin hole so I can't use the snowblower, tube keeps falling off.Any suggestions? I was thinking about drilling a new hole or threading the stud and use a nut.

Also blower doesn't throw the snow very far. Any way to adjust.

Spray the shoot with Teflon, tighten the power take off belt or replace it if worn or glazed. The Chan and sprocket may be warn out.

I would check the ware blade, sounds like it may be warn out so your bar is dragging.

Take the tube to a weld shop and they can make it like new.  Follow the directions in the manual to get the right washer and pin, a certain amount of slop is needed.

Are you running the engine full throttle?

I have a neighbor that welds, he's going to take a look at it
