moe1965 752 #3 Posted February 3, 2021 I jumped the selonide with screwdriver it started using the key the solenoid does not even click. Would that be the issue. Or is a safety switch preventing that. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
953 nut 59,251 #4 Posted February 3, 2021 Please resist the temptation to blame it on safety switches and bypass them. Use a small jumper wire from the battery "+" to the small terminal on the solenoid. This should close the solenoid and turn over the starter, if not the solenoid is probably the problem.
