We were supposed to have 5-8 inches, but instead had 4" of slop, I plowed it sort of. At least I found some things to improve, since i never plowed with a little guy before.. It is raining now, but might change to snow again.

We're forecast for around 12 to 14.

Starting tomorrow evening and all the way through Tuesday evening.

Both Trina's 867 Pigpen and my Cinnamon Horse C160 refused to start.

Charged the batteries. Topped off the gas.

867 is going good.

C160 I'm charging overnight and will put a new plug and wire on.  Plug wire I've been meaning to change the whole couple years I've had it and never got to it. It's a tad too short.

Also gassed up the snowblower. Cleared a few things off the back deck.

Should be ready.....

Failure to start in the face of the enemy... Pretty serious... How old was C160 battery

Any failure to start (unless the battery is more than 3 yrs old) is a major offense around here...It could be sent down to the minors..

Was supposed to start at 5pm, it's been snowing since 1030am!!

I see we are in 18 to 24 plus range.  Work was nice enough to shut down.  Snow looks light which is good, gotta keep the snow off the plastic sheds!

Last time it snowed ( first time this winter ) the Raider 10 refused to start because of a dead battery, that's when I figured out that the rectifier/regulator was bad. Then I went to the Raider 14 and it refused to start, only just clicking in the solenoid. I tapped the starter with a hammer and it has started good every time since then. I only panicked for a minute thinking my wife was not going to be happy with all the money spent just to plow a few inches of snow and they wouldn't start.:eusa-doh:

I think it's just been too long setting ❄️❄️❄️❄️ COLD ❄️❄️❄️❄️ and they were both slightly upset.

It's been -6°F 2 mornings and never went above freezing for daaays.

Cinnamon has always been a tough cold start.

Battery is used from a salvage yard. Group 51/51R.

Certainly several years old and should be replaced.

No way I'm buying a new one. I'm too cheap.

I've been meaning to get down to the salvage yard to pick up another battery and just haven't taken the time.

We'd be perfectly fine even without the C160 because of the walk behind snowblower.
