TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #1 Posted February 3, 2008 This ought to be good for a chuckle! It has to stay outside though -- the Horses might kick the S%@T out of it! Good power plant for the soon to be arriving B-112 though:
combatmp29r 27 #2 Posted February 3, 2008 I like it Terry, but I like the orange one behind it better :P
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #3 Posted February 3, 2008 I thought you'd like the orange one! Apparently it's one of those wheelie ridin' machines -- on accounta there ain't no front wheels? :D
Stigian 1,234 #4 Posted February 3, 2008 Keep the front wheels off it, saves making a snowplow for it :P
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,345 #5 Posted February 4, 2008 See those little CC rer's are good for something after all. An engine donor for a horse. Do you have a CC 149 around with a good 14 hp Kohler? :D
TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #6 Posted February 4, 2008 I'm not positive, Terry, but I think a Cub Cadet might only have a 1" crankshaft. I did have a Ford LGT120 here (made by Jacobsen circa 1982) that had a shallow sump K-301 with a 1 1/8" crankshaft. (I built adapters and mounted it on the neighbors Power King) You know you could always remove the cradle and mounting blocks and bolt up a "big sump" K series like the early 314, 312, 416 (single cylinder) tractors or even a Bronco 14, C-160, etc....... it would bolt directly to the frame -- if you use the correct oil pan. (like my C-161 "pulling tractor") The JD 210 engine should have the ears on the block (where the JD motor mount brackets bolt) If you had a Wheel Horse deep oil pan (big base), you COULD put that engine on your C-141 for now. :D

I have a good running 149 in NY When you coming after it ? 149's are 11/8 cranks but are starter gen engines. At least this one is, same as the 147's engine Duane
