jarelectro12 0 #1 Posted May 24, 2009 I bought a '69 Electro 12 (good running condition) about 5 years ago.It has set for the past couple of years and i decided to restore it. I've got the engine tore down and most of the tractor itself. It's amazing how tough and rugged these were built.I fell in love with it and have found a new hobby.I have adequate mechanical ability but in the world of Wheel Horse i am a rookie and know very little. I got the clutch off and took it apart and put new bearings in it,as i was studying it anything that would engage would be metal to metal.I don't know if this is normal or my clutch is just wore out.(i have mowed with it before it sat) I know on a car or truck there is a clutch disc,no metal to metal. I'm so glad i found this site,it appears to have very many knowledgeable people.I'm sure i'll be asking many many more questions on here.I appreciate any help and if i do need a new clutch where might i find the parts? scifi4all 6 #2 Posted May 26, 2009 Hi! I can't help you with your question about your electric clutch, but until someone does my suggestion is to try and use the search feature for any info about your clutch. Also this website Toro Master Parts Viewer has the parts lists and drawings for your tractor. Yours should have a Model # 1-7245. Hope this helps! :omg:
