JonW 0 #1 Posted May 23, 2009 1993 314-8 Did these have an optional gas gauge? Or a gauge built into the gas cap? Mine has neither. It's kind of silly that the only way to check how much gas I have is to get off the tractor, raise the seat and unscrew the gas cap and look inside the tank. JonW 0 #6 Posted May 23, 2009 $12.95 at psep pats small engine That's the one I was looking for. Thank You! But I wonder why mine didn't come with one.... or maybe it did and the P.O. replaced it with a different one.

Jon, with age the clear plastic lens over the gauge tends to discolor. I'll bet the PO just got rid of the old one and put a generic replacement on.
