grinchsr 647 #1 Posted December 12, 2020 I know this has been covered before but I can not find it in the archives. Except for the throttle link and the choke lever is there any difference between the K341 and the M16 carb?

wallfish 18,087 #3 Posted December 12, 2020 A carb swap will run both types of those engines either way they are swapped around
Bill D 2,247 #4 Posted December 12, 2020 Should be the same displacement engine. Either should work fine.

bds1984 1,499 #6 Posted December 13, 2020 I've swapped between the two without any issues as long as I remembered to switch the choke shaft otherwise your lever on your dash will be backwards; down is on and up is off or in is on and out is off. The carb on my K341 I bought new online (it was listed for an M16) and that is how I learned about the choke shaft differences.
bds1984 1,499 #7 Posted December 13, 2020 If you are buying one of the Chinesium carburetors, make sure you clean them out really good before installing them. On a hunch I opened one up and it was full of snot and black specs of unknown material. Other than that, the seven or so I have installed over the years, they all continue to run great. grinchsr 647 #8 Posted December 13, 2020 I am probably going to buy from I-Save-Tractors if I can't get the current one adjusted
