bell 11 #1 Posted May 22, 2009 Here's some stuff I've hauled in the past week... A pair of 857's... Thanks again Devin (fritz) This one has a broken rod and a BAD transmission This one has a EXCELLENT running K181 and a quiet transmission... Will be using the engine and transmission in one of the round hoods. A 500special in pretty bad shape... Again, thanks Devin! I picked this one up today... a 855 It had no rear wheels on it and was supposedly put out of commission because the transmission went "out"... When I put the rear wheels on, I discovered that the woodruff key on one of the hubs was sheared off... That just might explain the transmission problem... A BADLY needed recoil start K181 from Pat (jusjeepin) THANKS PAT! And, my brother found this K91 at the Marion County swap meet... I told him that if it looked to be all there, ****** it up for me... He brought it to me and I noticed the flywheel nut... FOR A SCHNACKE!!! I've had the recoil for a few years, but was missing the nut... Now, I have one! Kelly 1,033 #4 Posted May 23, 2009 Nice haul, I think your going to catch me in tractors pretty soon, what's your plans for the broken 857? I have one I need wiring and a few other pieces you and Pat still going to try to make it up here soon?
bell 11 #5 Posted May 23, 2009 Right now, they're going to be parts tractors... I'm keeping the good k-181's and a few other misc pieces... They have the original ignition switches too... I don't think I'm going to be able to make the trip with Pat... You going to the show Kelly? If y'all see anything you need, besides the good engines/ SG belt guards/ steering wheel on the 855..... message me. I need to start making some $ to fund my WHCC Show trip... :omg:
Kelly 1,033 #6 Posted May 23, 2009 I can't make the show this year, but I would be interested in the wiring harnes from a 857 if it's in good shape, and a key switch if your getting rid of one.
