AHS 1,524 #1 Posted December 10, 2020 Hey all! Clutch switch— here’s how I would do it; rotate the clutch clockowise, (if I can), and remove the outer nut. Other thoughts??
ebinmaine 71,831 #2 Posted December 10, 2020 What's on the inside? Are you trying to save the switch? If not, you could just hold on to the switch with a pair of pliers and turn the nut off on the outside with a wrench. If you're trying to save the switch... Maybe there's a flat on the switch on the inside of the bracket?
AHS 1,524 #3 Posted December 10, 2020 Nope! Not trying to save it! Brandy new switch. The inside is limited on space. To turn the clutch clockwise, just unpin it right at the clutch?

AHS 1,524 #5 Posted December 11, 2020 Ya, I’ve got kids... and one of them is just like me!! 🤔 The PTO switch was easy! This one has the clutch and PTO safety switch’s, and I would like to keep em that way.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,391 #6 Posted December 11, 2020 You should be able to get the pedal off the shaft for more room. A thin nut like that should easily break free. Garry
