need a part meassurement.

okay i asked in my other thread and got no responce so i am makeing this thread to hopefully get an answer to my question.

i am trying to find out the size of the link that goes from the lift arm to the mower deck on the 1054 cause mine is missing. also if it is the same as the one used on the GT-14.

please i am in need of the info if anyone could help it would be greatly apriciated.

I don't know anything about the GT-14 decks, but I'll try to get you some measurements of the lift link thingy for my 1054A's RM-485 later today while the sun's out.

I feel just a wee bit stupid. :drool: I forgot that my RM-485 is mounted using an aftermarket turnbuckle and a few links of chain in place of the factory lift rod.

I'm not sure what year your GT-14 is, but here's a parts breakdown for the '70 model mower.

And here's a parts breakdown for the RM-485 I have on my 1054A.

Although the different mowers mount differently they both use similar looking lift rods and trunnion studs, but have there own part numbers.

Looks like a piece of threaded rod and a trunnion would work? :omg:
