Will a C series plow mount up to a short frame round hood?

So I’m looking to get another plow, I found one off a C series does anyone know if those mount right up to an older round hood like a 753 or 704?

 

I noticed the one on mine the plow frame is V shaped all the way back to the plow mount, but all the ones I see square off and run parallel back to the mount.

The rear attach matic fits right up? My rear mount is 16 inches wide the one for sale they told me is 24” wide

I can’t see how 24” width would fit between the rear tires?

Can't be for a C series

The V-shaped frames use a rear axle hitch that mounts ahead of the rear axle.

The C-Series frames use a rear axle hitch that mounts under the rear axle.

The rear axle hitch and frame need to match.

The C-Series frames have 2 locations for the rear bar that goes into the hitch to accommodate the long and short frames.

Either they are measurement challenged or it wasn't on a   rear axle bracket.        Tell the seller .

what should the width of the rear mount points be on a C series plow, 16”?

As far as I know they are all 16".  I used a lognframe snowplow on my shortframe 1055 for several years and it is now on a 418-C.

D series are wider but i do not remember how wide.  Too rainy to go out and measure right now...
