Mikeahann 0 #2 Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) I’m installing a nova ignition module and directions say to cut wire going to points but this does not work, should I be connecting to the voltage regulator. Directions are for a flywheel coil and K 341 has external coil and voltage regulator which makes me think Install is different Edited November 28, 2020 by Mikeahann Better explanation

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,284 #4 Posted November 28, 2020 It is not connected to the regulator. They are for magneto ignitions only and of those only models with a single magnet in the flywheel will work so I'm told. Have never got one to work either. A simple push mower or chainsaw may be the only applications. Garry

You have a battery ignition system.
Mikeahann 0 #7 Posted November 30, 2020 I Yeah I found out and went with using a four pin GM module after doing some research supposedly it will work. I greatly appreciate you responding, the seller took all my tractor info and told me it the nova module was compatible after I even told them I read where it not for a battery ignition. Respect brother and have a good day
