Duff 206 #5 Posted May 20, 2009 Dave, please don't take it personally! Eric was just pointing out one of the rules here that you may not have known about. Some time back we used to allow Criagslist ads for non-members and the For Sale section was getting flooded. Since our space on the server that hosts this Forum is free, and after a several members got burned on bad Craigslist transactions, the Moderators decided to both save space and reduce hassle for the members by asking that only members with ads on Craigslist post their stuff for sale here. We all appreciate that your intention was only to help out! Duff :omg:

T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,599 #9 Posted May 20, 2009 Guys, it's a rule, but it's something that we don't try to go looking for just so we can do a "search and destory" mission. But we might "poof" one as friendly reminder every now and then. On a personal note, I understand a member trying to help others out. But like Duff said, there were a few members who got burnt over some bad ebay and Craig's list dealings. So unless it's your item, please refrain from posting ebay or Craig's list ad. Again, it's something that we won't go looking for just so we can "poof" it.
