hdfatryder 0 #1 Posted May 20, 2009  I bought a Charger 10 today. Can any one tell me what year it is? Serial #468591 and the model #1-7931. :omg:
bell 11 #2 Posted May 20, 2009 The toro site shows a 1-7931 as being a 1968 Charger 9 with a 10hp tecumseh... BUT, the toro site has been known to be flawed.

Workin_Horses 14 #5 Posted May 20, 2009 bell, we must have looked and replyed at the same time... However don't think the toro site is completly flawed... I looked at the online manual fot the model # 1-7931 says Charger 9 Automatic, but you are right the toro site says 10 hp engine but the manual says 9 hp engine
hdfatryder 0 #6 Posted May 20, 2009 Thanks again guys! We went on a "horse chase" all over central Iowa today in hopes of bringing back 2. Both of them were beat up from the feet up and the guy wouldn't budge on his price. Came home empty handed. Was looking at the local Craigslist posting and what did I find but a WH! 20 minutes from home!! Called the guy, said we'd be there in 30 and an hour later scored a beauty. She came with a deck and her plow!! She has been a well kept horse!!!
