Me was thinking about working on a couple seats myself....Would be nice if someone would do a tutorial 4 us simple minded folk lol...

I can't find it either!!  I fixed the cover that had rips and tears, basically glueing a filler piece of vinyl behind it, and filling it with liquid black vinyl repair.  It was fairly simple and was able to save the original cover.  I then added new marine foam and reassembled it

nobody else has done vinyl repair????

There has to be some more of you folks with ideas, ways to keep original seats just that....!!! Original. I guess im just too OCD, and dont want a replacement seat that doesnt look correct

I've found that by the time my seats are failing the entire vinyl has degraded and any repair is just going to precede another failure.  Now if a new seat gets cut then yes, I think a repair would be appropriate, successful and lasting.
