Red Headed Horse 38 #1 Posted November 5, 2020 I be been watching a few videos on YT on the Suburbans. I noticed that some do not have fenders or foot rests? I am guessing these were optional options at the time? My Suburban have the fenders and under seat tool box but not the foot rests. Be great to have clarification. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,522 #2 Posted November 5, 2020 Don't know about the foot rests but the FA-58 fenders and toolbox was optional. Likely first available in 1958 as they used 58 in the part number which was the practice at the time. It does show up in the 1958 and 1959 price lists as well as the 1960 sales brochure. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?q=fa-58&quick=1&type=downloads_file Garry
Red Headed Horse 38 #3 Posted November 6, 2020 Thanks for the attached brochures, fabulous advertising from a bygone time. The foot rests within the brochures are different to the ones I have seen in photos. The ones I have seen are smaller, perhaps it's artistic licence? Intriguing......
