Lee1977 7,224 #26 Posted October 30, 2020 I bought a 1989 520-H last spring with 780 hours set under an open shed was never cleaned up. I cleaned half a bushel of grass dirt and oil off the engine tunnel and hydro, Fixed the wiring taking two wires out of the 9 pin connector. Replaced all four safety switches, the seat switch and fuse holder. Added an electric fuel pump and put the engine breather back on right. New cam and cam plate along with new 1/4" heims joints. A new set of 24 x 950 x 12 and 18 x 650 x 8 Carlisle Turf Masters. Did some rust clean up and spot painting and made a new set of tie rods for it.. I still have less in it then a new box store junkier. i keep my Wheel Horses in the basement where it is always dry, never get too hot or too cold. I has 827 hours on it now hasn't giving me any problems since I replaced the cam and cam plate. The low hours I put on it is because I have two other Wheels Horses with mower decks. Don't leave a 520 out side but that true for all lawn equipment, they were not designed to be left out side.
