tractormandash 5 #1 Posted October 25, 2020 I have a 1967 K301 that was completely rebuilt when I restored the Tractor. It was done about 8 years ago. Since day one of the overhaul there is a what I call a burp that is heard from the exhaust when the engine is up to temperature. When the engine is cold it's not there. When it does do it its not constant. It may do it once then wait about two minutes then do it twice fast then wait another minute or two. It does not do it as often and sometimes not at all when the attachments are engaged. It seems to do it more now than when the engine was first rebuilt. I'm wondering if I have a valve that doesn't completely seal once warm. Any feedback would be appreciated. The Tractor is a 67 ford 120 hydro. This weekend I pulled the head and cleaned the combustion chamber which was surprisingly clean. It's been a good five years since last done. I also put a carb kit in it as it didn't start well cold. That problem is now fixed. Recreational fuel used all the time with sea foam or schaeffers neutra. Thank you. Jay

tunahead72 2,543 #3 Posted October 26, 2020 In addition to what Richard suggested, is your carb throttle shaft possibly loose?
tractormandash 5 #4 Posted October 27, 2020 Throttle shaft has almost no play. Could it be governor related?
lynnmor 7,815 #5 Posted October 27, 2020 I would try regular gasoline without all the snake oil. If the problem remains, check the carburetor again, maybe the float level is too high.
